UNDATED (WTVB) – Old Man Winter just refuses to go away.
Even though it’s almost the middle of April, an overnight snowfall led to slick driving conditions for those who had to be out early Saturday morning.
As of midnight, almost two inches of snow had fallen in Coldwater.
The Branch County Road Commission had their plows out early Saturday.
Normally on April 9th, the high temperature in Coldwater is 56 degrees. Highs on Saturday were expected to be almost 20 degrees colder than normal.
Sunday is expected to be a real mess with rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow. Highs will only be in the mid 40’s.
If you are sick of this weather, hang in there. It is expected to improve next week.
The extended forecast is calling for sunny skies Wednesday through Friday with temperatures warming back into the 60’s by Friday.
