CHARLOTTE, NC (WTVB) – A 2014 Bronson High School graduate died from a stabbing in the Charlotte, North Carolina area over the weekend.
WSOC-TV reports 19-year-old Skyler Riker died early Saturday morning at CaroMont Regional Hospital in Mount Holly.
The station also reported the stabbing was not a random act of violence and that it happened after a fight between Riker and someone he knew.
The stabbing is under investigation and as of Sunday, no suspects had been taken into custody.
Riker was attending Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina.
Riker was a football player and a wrestler at Bronson. He qualified for the state individual wrestling finals during his senior year.
