FABOUIS TWP, MI (WTVB) – A 42-year-old motorcyclist is recovering after being struck by a vehicle in Fabius Township.
St. Joseph County Sheriff’s deputies say the 72-year-old driving the vehicle was cited for failure to yield after she entered the roadway from a business driveway and collided with the motorcycle, which happened late Friday on U.S. 131 near Millard Road.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital after suffering non-life threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet.
Investigators are still investigating the incident, but do not believe alcohol was a factor.
