HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says they seized a large amount of marijuana from a Hillsdale Township home on Saturday that had a street value of over $200,000.
They arrested 27-year-old Anthony Edward Nunziato on three felony charges after an alleged marijuana grow operation was found after deputies got an anonymous tip from Crime Stoppers of Michigan.
The Sheriff’s Department says after Nunziato gave written consent for deputies to search his home, they recovered 71 suspected Marijuana plants, over 37 pounds of suspected processed Marijuana, suspected Marijuana hash, suspected Marijuana oil and wax, 170 full cans of butane, 100 empty cans of butane and numerous suspected components to manufacture marijuana along with oil and wax.
Nunziato was lodged at the Hillsdale County Jail on charges of Manufacture Marijuana 2nd Offense, Manufacture Marijuana (Oil/Wax) 2nd Offense and Possession of intent to deliver Marijuana 2nd Offense
