COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A public hearing on the City of Coldwater’s 2016-2017 budget was held as part of Monday evening’s regular City Council meeting.. City Manager Jeff Budd said the budget has a $583,000 deficit, but Budd called it a “bare bones” budget.
The City Council also approved the hiring of Megan Angell as a staff attorney. Budd said she will start in September.
Angell, currently a partner in the law firm of Biringer, Hutchinson, Lillis, Bappert & Angell P.C., will become a city employee in September.
