COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Additional security cameras in the area of the emergency room were among the capital expenditures approved by the Community Health Center of Branch County Board of Trustees on Monday night.
Hospital Director and CEO Randy DeGroot said the four new cameras and two monitors would cost over $6,900. He felt the cameras would take care of some blind spots and add to the safety and security of the area.
The board also approved resurfacing the emergency department parking lot at a cost of over $39,000. Work is expected to take place in August.
They also decided to put the replacement of elevators into the 2017 budget and the board also voted to once again have the certified accounting firm of BKD of Fort Wayne perform audits for the hospital over the next three years.
