COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A fourth Indiana resident has been arraigned on five charges after local law enforcement authorities say they found an active methamphetamine lab in a van on June 10th.
Maggie Elizabeth Giffin was arraigned last Friday in Branch County District Court. The charges include delivering and manufacturing methamphetamine as well as operating and maintaining a meth lab.
Bond was set at $50,000. A probable cause conference was scheduled for July 5, 2016 with a preliminiary exam set for July 12.
28-year-old Kasey Giffin of Fremont, 22-year-old Felicia Giffin of Angola and 30-year-old Ryan Workman of Keystone were also charged in connection with the case.
Court documents indicate the arrests took place after Kasey Giffin, who had a warrant for his arrest out of Steuben County, had come to the Coldwater Meijer Store to allegedly buy pseudoephedrine in order to make meth.
Felicia Giffin and Workman were later arrested in the van that authorities say contained among things syringes and an active meth lab.
