COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -Another Coldwater coach has earned post season honors from the Battle Creek Enquirer. Randy Spangler has been named as the newspaper’s All Area Baseball Team Coach of the Year.
Coldwater’s Tina Schiedler earlier this week earned the same honor for the Enquirer’s Girls Softball team.
The Cardinal baseball team went 31-10 and was the top ranked team in Division Two by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association.
They were co-champs in the Interstate 8 and won a fifth straight district championship.
Coldwater’s Austin Krzeminski, Brendan Spangler and Bryce Barringer were named to the All-Area team along with Eli Way of Union City and Daniel McMichael of Bronson.
