COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Southwestern Michigan Perinatal Association recently honored Doctor Edward Lake Junior at their annual spring conference with this year’s SWMPA Perinatal Excellence Award.
To be a recipient of the award, the person must meet a number of criteria such as demonstrating an energetic and positive attitude toward maternal/child health and contributing to the knowledge base of the region by providing or assisting with educational opportunities.
Each hospital in the region selects one person deserving of the award.
Dr. Lake has provided care to the women of Branch County for over 32 years.
He also serves as the president of the Coldwater Community School Board and is an active member of the Coldwater Noon Rotary.
