COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There will be plenty of fireworks, celebrations and parades around Branch County during the 4th of July weekend.
There will be fireworks shows Saturday night over Coldwater Lake and Lake George. Union City will have its fireworks show on Sunday night at Alumni Field as part of its Sesquicentennial Free Fest and organizers say it will be their biggest fireworks show ever.
Coldwater’s fireworks show at Heritage Park will be held on Monday night.
Union City’s Sesquicentennial parade will take place at 10:30am this morning. A complete schedule of events can be found on the Union City Chamber of Commerce Facebook page or by logging onto their web site which is www.unioncitymi.com.
Quincy’s 4th of July parade will take place on Monday morning starting at 11:00am. Lineup at 10:30am at the Quincy High School. The parade route will be west on Jefferson to Main Street and then south to Liberty Street.
