THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – The State of Michigan is suspending the license of a Three Rivers foster care family home, with the intent to permanently revoke the license, after investigating a complaint against the operators.
The investigation found violations of rules protecting the health, welfare and safety of the vulnerable adults who live there, that were bad enough to order emergency action.
The state order specifically bans Shoheli Talukder from operating a foster care operation anywhere in the state and that she notifies the guardians of the residents that she has had her license suspended.
She has been operating out of a private home since 2012 caring for up to 6 patients. She has the right to appeal.
