COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Canvassers will start going over the election results on Wednesday afternoon.
The results of a write in campaign for Girard Township Supervisor will not be known until after the canvassers work is done.
Phil AcMoody has been conducting a write in campaign against Republican Gene Easterday.
Easterday won the August GOP Primary by one vote over AcMoody who then requested a recount.
But the recount was scrubbed after it was discovered the seal numbers on the bottom of two ballot containers were not recorded properly as required by state law.
