CENTREVILLE, MI (WTVB) – A 44-year-old Three Rivers man is locked up on several charges following a chase in Centreville Wednesday afternoon.
St. Joseph County Sheriff Bradley Balk says a deputy tried to stop a vehicle that had a stolen plate on it.The deputy activated his lights and siren but the suspect driver went through several parking lots.
The suspect eventually stopped the vehicle, got out and tried to make a run for it. The deputy ran him down and was able to apprehend the subject after deploying a taser.
The suspect was arrested on several Felony Warrants and lodged at the St. Joseph County Jail with charges of Fleeing and Eluding, Resisting and Obstructing, Possession of Stolen Property, Driving While License Suspended and Operating a vehicle without Insurance.
