ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – An Orland man was booked at the Steuben County Jail Wednesday after he allegedly failed to register as a sex offender.
31-year-old Matthew Ray Epperson surrendered at the Steuben County Jail without incident.
A warrant was issued for Epperson earlier in the day which charged him with a felony count of failure to register as a sex or violent offender.
The warrant came after a Sheriff’s Office investigation involving Epperson allegedly failing to comply with Indiana’s Sex and Violent Offender Registry law.
Epperson was being held Thursday on a $5,000 bond.
