COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Manager Jeff Budd says the State of Michigan has given the city the okay to move forward with the bidding and contracting for the spray park in Heritage Park. The spray park is being built at the site of the former outdoor pool.
Construction is expected to start in the spring. Bids for the project are due on December 9, 2016.
City officials have decided not to tear down the swimming pool building, which will primarily be used for storage, but Budd says in his report to the City Council for Monday night’s meeting that upgrades will be made to the restrooms and there will be some aesthetic improvements to the building.
