QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s Department is looking into the shooting of a family dog. WWMT-TV says it happened early Tuesday morning during the opening day of the firearm deer hunting season in Michigan.
The exact location of the shooting has not been released but sorces say it was in a rural area of the county north of Quincy
The dog came home wounded after being let out by its owner. The German shepherd was treated and is expected to fully recover.
