COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Six members of the Class C state champion Bronson Vikings have earned 2016 All State honors from the Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association.
Information had not been posted on the M.I.V.C.A. web site on Friday but according to the Battle Creek Enquirer, sophomore Kiera Lasky, junior Kiana Mayer, senior Jill Pyles and senior Allison Sikorski all were named to first team.
Sophomore Ashton Wronikowski was named the second team while freshman Keona Salesman was named to the third team.
Meanwhile, Coldwater’s Sam DeMeester earned an honorable mention on the Associated Press Division 3 and 4 All State High School Football Team.
DeMeester set a new Coldwater High School record by rushing for 1,260 yards this season. He also owns the school record for career rushing yards with 3,540. He also scored 40 touchdowns during his four years on the varsity.
