COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- With the end of the year coming up, the Branch County Board of Commissioners will be considering nominations for several boards during their meeting next Tuesday.
Some of the nominations were for re-appointments but others are being made for openings like the one on the Road Commission Board.
Merle Donbrock will be leaving the board after nearly two decades of service. The nominees submitted to the Commissioners were Dawn Shilling, Jon Houtz and Steve Weigt.
Other nominations that were submitted last week included Michael Kelly for the Airport Board, William “Butch” Wilber and Dr. Wallace Newkirk for the Veterans Affairs Board, Harold Adamson and Ronald Sampsel for the Community Health Center of Branch County Board of Trustees, Rod Olney and Bob Walter for the Commission on Aging Board, Martha Watson to the Branch District Library Board, Ann Vrablic for the Branch County Building Authority, along with Paul Meredith and Earl Modert for the Branch County Board of Public Works.
