NOBLE TOWNSHIP, BRANCH CO, MI (WTVB) – The discovery of a body Saturday night in a field in southwestern Branch County near the Michigan-Indiana line is under investigation.
Medical first responders and the Bronson Fire Department were dispatched at about 6:30 p.m. to a field off of Gunthorp Road in Noble Township.
Authorities are releasing no further information. A spokesman for the Michigan State Police would only confirm they are investigating the incident.
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Life Care Ambulance were also at the scene Saturday. The person was deceased by the time rescue crews arrived.
