COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater varsity bowling squads split their matches with Battle Creek Pennfield Tuesday at Midway Lanes. Coldwater boys varsity came away with a 24-6 victory. Top score for Coldwater was Alec Keplinger with a 203 and a 375 series. Jaden Reichhart with a 202 and a 363 series and Andrew Sheets with a 188 and a 361 series. Coldwater is now 3- 0 on the season.
The J.V. boys are also 3-0 after a 21-9 victory over Pennfield. High games for Coldwater were Gavin Duke with a 190 and 349 series, Tristan Furney with a 181 game and 332 series, and Kaleb Wilber with a 171 game.
The Coldwater J.V. girls squad defeated a mixed Pennfield squad 24-6. High scores for Coldwater Hannah Furney with 185 and 317 series, Stella Beerman 144 game and a 244 series, and Breanna Hamm with a 135 and a 265 series.
The Coldwater varsity girls suffered their first loss of the season. They won the two regular games 15-0. Then, Pennfield came back to take the baker series forcing a baker game roll off which was won by Pennfield by a total of 31 pins. High scores for Coldwater Alysia Vanwormer with a 218 game and a 387 series, Cassidy Wolff with a 179 game and 310 series, Allison Caswell with a 166 game and a 291 series.
For Pennfield Haley Hooper with a 193 game and a 348 series, Alexis England with a 173 game and a 294 series.
