HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – Authorities in Hillsdale County continue to look for a nine-year-old boy who is listed as a “missing endangered child”.
Jace Landon Lyon was last seen getting off his school bus at his home on East Moore Road just north of the Hillsdale College campus Wednesday afternoon.
The last contact with him was a voicemail he left on his mother’s cell phone Wednesday night at 6:30pm. She reported him as missing at about 9:00pm after coming home from work.
The youngster is described as being four-feet two-inches tall who weighs 55 pounds. He had light brown hair, brown eyes and was possibly wearing a bright blue coat with bright yellow on the front.
He has a scar and bald spot on the left side of his head.
Michigan State Police, the Michigan D.N.R., Hillsdale Police and the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department have searched for the boy.
Foul play is not suspected in the disappearance.
