BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Some Bronson educators were recently selected to receive grants of nearly $5,000 in resources from the Guido A. & Elizabeth H. Binda Foundation.
History teacher Jeff Gallup secured a book study grant that will provide two books entitled “All the Light We Cannot See” and “The Nightingale.”
English teacher Autumn McCavit wrote a grant for classroom library books. The grant will allow several Gary Paulson and Rick Riordan books, as well as books from the “Maize Runner” series to be added to the curriculum.
English teacher Sara Jane Eppley wrote a grant that allows Bronson Community Schools to now carry the “Who Was” series while history teacher Dennis Gest wrote a grant that would allow two of Bill O’Reilly’s books, “Killing Lincoln” and “Killing Patton” to be added to the May term history curriculum.
Finally, counselor Alanna Denton wrote a grant “Bounce for Focus” for students with disabilities. The resources gained from the grant will go directly to students in Chance Kehoe’s class.
