UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school basketball Monday night, it was asplit for Branch County teams. Union City let a first half lead slip away and fell at home to Mendon 48-40. The Chargers drop to 5-6.
Bronson topped Battle Creek St Philip 63-43 to improve to 3-7. Thadd Herman led the Vikings with 14 points.

Coldwater’s 8th grade A team defeated Parma Western 54-45. Mia Rzepka had 18 points to lead Coldwater.
The 8th grade White team beat Parma Western 27-25. Joselyn Salto scored 14 points for Coldwater.
Coldwater’s 7th grade A team lost at Parma Western 53-30. Jayla Foster led Coldwater with eight points.
Coldwater’s 7th grade B team won at Parma Western 20-19. Kaylee McBride led Coldwater with six points.
The Bronson 8th grade girls basketball team topped White Pigeon 40-14. Bronson was led by Meagan Lasky with 15 points.
The Bronson 7th graders lost 22-15 at White Pigeon. Caitlyn Hagen scored 8 points for Bronson.
