COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Temperatures got well into the 60s over the weekend and that resulted in a couple of new record highs for the City of Coldwater.
The Branch County Memorial Airport had a high of 66 Saturday, which was reported at 3:30 p.m. According to the web site www.intellicast.com, that shattered the previous record high for February 18th of 59 degrees set back in 1961.
The temperature got up to 64 degrees at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday and that barely broke the previous record for February 19 of 63 degrees set back in 1930.
Highs are expected to get into the low 60’s Monday and Tuesday and into the upper 60’s on Wednesday.
Coldwater’s record highs over the next three days were all set in 1930. They were 64 for Monday and 67 degrees for Tuesday and Wednesday.
