COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man was arraigned on four counts Friday in Branch County District Court after he allegedly tried to steal over $300 worth of alcohol from the Wal-Mart store.
25-year-old Tyler Michael Griffith is facing two counts of resisting and obstructing a police officer, first degree retail fraud and possession of marijuana.
According to court documents, Griffith is accused of trying to sneak out 10 bottles of alcohol in a backpack.
Bond has been set at $20,000. A probable cause hearing has been scheduled for April 4 with a preliminary exam on April 11, 2017.
