Quincy Village Manager Eric Zuzga says construction on Jefferson and Grove is moving along ahead of schedule.
QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – In his report to the Quincy Village Council for their meeting on Tuesday night, Zuzga says the final prep and grading of Jefferson and Grove Streets should finish this week.
He added that the installation of a new curb on Grove street will start in the next week, along with driveway and sidewalk replacements. This will allow the complete paving of Jefferson and Grove during the week of June 26th.
Zuzga also says construction will start at the South Main Lift Station next week. There will be a temporary traffic shift to the west to allow for construction and two way traffic.
Construction will start on Colfax and Fulton next week as well.
Zuzga says at this time, the work will be wrapped up before school starts in August. The work is being done after Quincy got a $1 million grant for infrastructure needs from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation last year.
