COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – While the 2017 Branch County Fair officially begins its six day run at noon on Sunday, there will be a couple of big events on Saturday.
The fair parade through downtown Coldwater will start at 4:00 p.m.
After leaving the Branch County Fairgrounds, the parade will head north on Jefferson to U.S. 12 where it will turn left.
It will then head west on US 12 before turning left on Clay.
The parade will turn left on Park Avenue before heading back to the Fairgrounds.
Longtime 4-H and fair supporters Ellen and Charlie Bates will be the Grand Marshall.
A concert featuring contemporary Christian acts 7eventh Time Down and Finding Favour will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Amphitheater.
Judging will get underway Sunday morning with the Poultry Show in the Show Shelter at 8:30 a.m.
A ribbon cutting for the new grandstand will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Sunday’s activities will be highlighted by the crowning of the Fair King and Queen at 7:00 p.m. in the Dearth Center.
