PLEASANT LAKE, IN (WTVB) – Things were not pleasant in Pleasant Lake, Indiana on Thursday night when two drivers exchanged gunfire following an apparent road rage incident.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department says the confrontation started just south of Angola. It went south on Old US 27 and wound up in the area of Main and Colleen Streets in Pleasant Lake at about 10:15 p.m.
One vehicle was struck by a bullet. The other vehicle drove off and it’s not known if it was hit.
Police later found a bullet lodged in the siding of a nearby home.
The incident remains under investigation.
