COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School football program will be holding its first ever Purple Football game versus Hastings October 13 to help raise money for cancer research. They will be partnering with The Cancer Center of Branch County and the American Cancer Society in the fund raising effort.
The color purple symbolizes all types of cancers. The Coldwater Cardinal football team will be wearing purple football jerseys to help raise awareness and raise money for cancer research.
You can buy a jersey for a player to wear during the game against Hastings.
You will also be able to have the person’s name in which you would like to honor on the back of the jersey.
The cost of each jersey is $60 and you will be able to keep the jersey after the game.
