STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – In girls varsity volleyball, Coldwater improved their record to 14-2-2 after they swept Sturgis 3- 0 Thursday (25-13, 25-13, 25-14).
* Malorie Rzepka led in kills with 12 and had 6 digs
* Jasmine Wellet had 10 kills and led in digs with 12
* Jamie Wellet had 6 kills, 10 assists, and 8 digs
* Drue Mullin added 8 digs
* Izzy Foley had 5 digs
* Samantha Rodesiler led with 3 aces
* Ellory Farmer and Olivia Foley each had 11 assists.
The Lady Cardinalsy will open their Interstate 8 conference Wednesday at Marshall.
Both the Coldwater J.V. and freshman volleyball squads won their matches over Sturgis by 2-0 scores.
