JONESVILLE, MI (WTVB) – The Hillsdale County Road Commission says bridge work on Jonesville Road is almost finished.
If the weather cooperates, the bridge could re-open to traffic in another two to three weeks.
Deck work was finished in the past week. Crews still need to finish backfilling the approaches and complete the paving.
The Road Commission closed the bridge between Ash and Condra Roads May 25, 2017 due to a failing culvert. The bridge had to be rebuilt because it was considered no longer safe enough to support traffic.
