COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School 8th grade boys basketball A team won 53-32 against Jackson Northwest Monday. Brandon Downs and Aaron May both scored eight points. Evan Sloane had nine rebounds. Luis Capellan and Ethan Crabtree both had five assists. Their record is 2-0 and they play at Harper Creek Wednesday.
The Legg 8th grade B team prevailed over Jackson Northwest Monday 41-33. Gavin Budd had 15 points while Joe Eichorn grabbed 12 rebounds. Their next game is at Harper Creek Wednesday.
The Legg 7th grade A team lost to Jackson Northwest 53-23. Elijah Sloan tossed in 11 points for Legg. Their next game is Wednesday at home against Harper Creek.
The Legg 7th grade B team lost 48-11 to Jackson Northwest. Redwan Alshehay and Eduardo Arroyo lead the team in scoring with four points. Eduardo led the team in rebounds with twelve. Their next action is at home on Wednesday against Harper Creek.
