COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Several local businesses are helping Altrusa International with their annual raffle. Altrusa International of Branch County presents over $22,000 each year to organizations and projects throughout the community and they raise about half of those funds through the Club’s annual diamond raffle.
This year’s raffle will be held December 6, 2017 at the club’s noon meeting at the Coldwater Elks.
The first place prize is the winner’s choice of a diamond pendent or a pair of diamond earrings. Altrusa works with Kiess Jewelry to choose an exquisite cut diamond. Second prize is $250 and third prize is $100.
The club also holds a golf outing each May to raise the rest of the funds that become their Community Service budget.
Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. They can be purchased from any Altrusa member or at sponsor locations including Kiess Jewelry, Southern Michigan Bank & Trust and All Seasons Travel.
