WATERVLIET, MI (WTVB) – Two of the top teams in the state according to the Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association will meet Thursday evening in the Class C Girls Volleyball Regional championship game at Watervliet. Top-ranked and defending state champion Bronson will face fourth-ranked Schoolcraft for the right to advance to next Tuesdays state quarterfinal match at Kalamazoo Loy Norrix. The winner of the Bronson-Schoolcraft match will face either Monroe Saint Mary Catholic Central or Whitmore Lake next Tuesday. Thursday’s match starts at 7:00. A pair of Coldwater High School athletes announced their collegiate intentions on Wednesday. MHSAA Division Two Cross Country State Champion Shuaib Aljabaly said on social media he will attend and run at the University of Wisconsin next year. Meanwhile, Austin Krzeminski announced he has signed his letter of intent to play baseball at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff
