COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Dan Corwin officially filed his request for a recount on Thursday at the Branch County Clerk’s office.
Corwin lost by three votes in Tuesday’s election for a fourth ward seat on the Coldwater City Council as he was defeated by Scott Houtz 143-140.
The results were certified on Wednesday by the Branch County Board of Canvassers.
The board is tentatively scheduled to conduct the recount on November 27th.
