COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In middle school girls basketball Thursday, the Coldwater Legg School squads split their games with Battle Creek Laeview.
8th Grade A— Legg 46, Lakeview 42
Legg improves to 4-2. Mallory Wilber scored 14 points, Jayla Foster had 13 points and Allison Miller had five rebounds and six assists
8th Grade B— Legg 32, Lakeview 14
Kaylee McBride led Legg with 8 points as the B team record improved to 5-1.
7th Grade A— Lakeview 42, Legg 20
Brooklyn Kerry led Legg with 9 points, 11 rebounds and three steals
7th Grade B— Lakeview 15, Legg 10
Also Thursday night, St. Charles Borromeo Middle School improved to 4-0 in the Sturgis Christian League as they defeated Factoryville Christian Middle School 30-18. David Richards led St. Charles with 10 points while Luke Bailey had seven points.
