COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – As the dig out continues from Friday’s large snowfall across Branch County, many school districts are giving road crews a few extra hours to clear the roads before the buses roll Monday morning.
All schools in Branch County will have a two hour delay Monday. All schools around the region were closed Friday, as 14 to 16 inches of snow fell in Branch County.
The National Weather Service issued another Winter Weather Advisory from late Saturday through Sunday afternoon fof 3 ro 5 inches of additonal snowfall, but only around one inch fell, mixed with some freezing drizzle.
Detroit Metro Airport was closed for several hours Sunday due to icing on the runways.
