COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Thanks to last Friday’s snowout, the Coldwater Cardinals start a busy week of high school basketball this evening of playing three games in five nights. The boys will host Pennfield at the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium after they defeated the Panthers 62-40 at Pennfield on January 9.
Coldwater is 11-3 overall and 7-2 in the Interstate 8. Parma Western’s loss to Hastings last Saturday has left Parma, Coldwater and Marshall all with two losses in conference games.

Two of the top teams in the Interstate 8 meet this evening as Coldwater will play at Pennfield. Coldwater is tied for first with Jackson Northwest at 8-1 while Pennfield is one game back at 7-2. The Cardinals are just one of two teams to beat Pennfield this season as they defeated the Panthers 54-45 at the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium back on January 9th. Coldwater is 14-1 overall while Pennfield is 13-2.
