BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Two recent Branch County break-in’s that took place in broad daylight are being investigated by Michigan State Police.
No items were taken in either incident due in part to homeowners being in the residences.
The first took place on the morning of June 4, 2018 in the 100 Block of Indian Trail in Bethel Township. Troopers say a suspect used force to get into a home at about 8:00 a.m. that morning but was scared off by the homeowner.
The suspect is described as a man who is about five-feet-six-inches tall. He had a thin build and was last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt and jeans.
The second incident took place early last Friday afternoon in the 900 Block of Mendon Road in Sherwood Township.
State Police report multiple suspects attempted to break into the residence at around 1:00 p.m. by breaking through some glass in a door and trying to unlock it. The homeowner was able to scare them off before they were able to get inside.
One suspect was described as having a darker complexion. He had a large build and was about six feet tall. The suspect was wearing a blue tank top and jeans. A second suspect was described as wearing blue shorts and a blue shirt.
