COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Things just won’t seem the same on Monday at the Southern Michigan Bank and Trust branch in Coldwater.
After 46 years of dedicated service, Janet Carpenter has retired.
Co-workers and customers celebrated her retirement last Friday with a catered meal at the bank from Tasteful Kreations.
Bank Vice-President Greg Sopcak pitched in by smoking the meat
Carpenter joined the bank in 1973.
There were numerous wishes for a happy retirement that were posted on the bank’s Facebook page.
