COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – For the most part, Branch County missed the brunt of the rough weather that rolled through the area on Tuesday night.
The National Weather Service issued two different Severe Thunderstorm Warnings for portions of Branch County between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.Tuesday. The City of Coldwater and areas south of the city saw brief heavy rain around 7:30 p.m.
There were multiple trees and power lines down in Three Rivers and around the Pokagon State Park area.
Trees and lines were also reported down along State Road 120 west of Fremont, Indiana.
Power lines were also reported down in Fremont.
The Branch County Road Commission had to clear downed trees on North Fiske Road, near South Willowbrook and Dorrance Roads, on North Fremont Road near Rawson Road and on Bennett Road.
No power outages were reported in Branch County on Wednesday morning by Consumer’s Energy.
