COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Each year Altrusa’ International of Branch County distributes monies raised from the Altrusa Golf Outing and the Altrusa Diamond Raffle. This year over $20,000 is available for funding nonprofits in the Branch County area.
Requests for funds from for community service projects are now open.
Previous projects and organizations supported by Altrusa include include Altrusa Teen S.H.A.R.E., the Branch County Literacy Council, Tibbits Opera Foundation, Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, Vocational Scholarships, Happy Feet, Tommy’s House, Homework Fun at Union Church, Beginnings Care for Life Center, and Altrusa’s international service project, Days for Girls.
Request forms will be accepted through July 31. Forms can be found on Altrusa’s website, www.altrusabranchcounty.com; Altrusa’s Facebook page, or from any Altrusa member.
The completed one-page application can be scanned and emailed to altrusabranchcouty@gmail.com; mailed to Altrusa International of Branch County, Inc., P.O. Box 631, Coldwater; or hand-delivered to the Law Office of Rhonda B. Ives, 14 S. Monroe St., Coldwater.
