COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Two suspects from Indiana were arraigned in Branch County District Court Wednesday on numerous charges, after items were stolen from storage units on the south side of Coldwater.
36-year-old Jennifer Renee Oliver and 44-year-old Robby Alan McCarty were charged with seven counts of breaking and entering with intent as well as receiving and concealing stolen property and being in possession of burglary tools. McCarty was also charged with having no operators permit on him.
They were apprehended on Marshall Road just north of Coldwater Tuesday afternoon after several Shaftmaster U-Store-N-Lock storage units on North Angola Road were broken into.
They were spotted by Branch County Sheriff’s Deputies and Coldwater Police after a “Be On the Lookout” was issued for a possible suspect vehicle traveling through the north side of Coldwater.
Michigan State Police and the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.
McCarty’s bond was set at $75,000, while Oliver’s bond is $35,000.
