COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Now that the Coldwater Downtown Development Authority has allocated money for bike racks in the downtown area, they are now looking for your input on the style and location of those bike racks.
The DDA board in June decided to spend up to $3,000 from the general downtown maintenance fund for the installation of those street front bike racks. It’s estimated six bike racks will be installed downtown.
City officials have created an online survey for community input.
While bicyclists may ride on streets downtown city ordinance prohitbits the riding of bicycles, skateboards, and roller skates in public parking lots and sidewalk areas of the downtown business district.
