HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – A Hillsdale County man will spend the rest of his life in prison, after being convicted of killing his father and another man last August.
A Hillsdale Couty Circuit Court jury convicted 36-year-old Alexander Lee Dombrowski Wednesday of two counts of murder.
Dombrowski was accused of killing his father, 64-year-old Alexander Lee Dombrowski, Sr. and 56-year-old neighbor Timothy John Curtiss, around 4:00 a.m. at a residence on Grange Road in Hillsdale County’s Camden Township. The younger Dombrowski was found five hours later in a bean field near the crime scene and was taken into custody without incident.
Dombrowski faces a mandatory term of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole on the first-degree murder conviction and 25 years on the second-degree murder conviction. He is being held without bond pending sentencing, tentatively scheduled for 8:30 a.m. August 26, 2019.
