OSSEO, MI – (WTVB) – Another Hillsdale County Republican is running for the 58th District State House seat that Eric Leutheuser has to give up when his current term ends next year.
28-year-old Daren Wiseley of Osseo formally announced his intentions in a video posted to Facebook.
He described himself as a conservative in the traditional sense. Wiseley has never held political office.
He currently works as a real estate agent. At one time, he served as an assistant prosecutor in Hillsdale County.
The other Republican candidates in the August 2020 primary are Hillsdale Mayor Adam Stockford and attorney Andrew Fink. Steven Soward is the lone Democratic candidate.
