MARSHALL, MI – (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinals bowling squads opened their season on Saturday by having all seven of their teams entered in the Marshall Scotch Doubles Tournament finish in the top 25.
The seven Coldwater teams were among 42 that were entered.
After the qualifying round, the Cardinals had four teams in the top eight for the stepladder finals.
The team of Riley Cooper-Lewis and Dayten Yearling finished the finals in second place.
Carly Gebbink and Kai Kinsey were third, Noella Keplinger and Andon Parshall finished fourth while Cassie Pokorny and Austin Johnson were seventh.
The Coldwater varsity boys will take on Harper Creek Monday at the M-66 Bowl in Pennfield.
All four Coldwater teams will be back at the M-66 Bowl on Wednesday to face Pennfield.
