UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – A watermain break Saturday led Village of Union City officials to issue a boil water advisory for a portion of St. Joseph Street.
Residents on St. Joseph between Woodruff and Park Streets were told to boil their water before consuming it as a precaution due to a loss in pressure in the village water supply.
A loss in water pressure may cause bacterial contamination in the water system.
Corrective measures were taken and the advisory was lifted on Sunday after tests showed the water was safe for consumption.
