EAST LANSING, MI – Cassius Winston set a new Big Ten Conference record for career assists as 15th-ranked Michigan State posted a 67-55 win against Wisconsin at the Breslin Center. Winston finished with 4 assists, which gave him 817 for his career – one more than the previous record holder, Spartan legend Mateen Cleaves, who was in attendance. Winston also had 6 points, while Xavier Tillman had a team-high 15 points, Gabe Brown and Aaron Henry had 13 apiece, and Rocket Watts added 11. The 14-4 Spartans are idle until next Thursday, when they play at Indiana.
