QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy’s All-Sports Weekend kicked off Friday with eleven teams participating in the Oriole Classic track meet. Leslie won the boys meet with 150.5 points, while Union City was second with 143 points and the host Orioles third with 106 points. Pittsford edged Quincy to take the girls meet, 132 points to 131.5, while Union City was third with 120 points.
Double winners for Union City were Ben Gautsche in the boys 800m and 1600m runs and Logan Cole in the boys shot put and discus. Also winning for the Chargers: Jason Shoop in the boys 3200m run, Nevada Gillons in the girls 100m hurdles, and Attica Hoath in the girls 200m dash. UC also won five of the ten relay races.
For the host Orioles, winners include Clayton Benson in the boys 400m, Noah Rufenacht in the boys high jump, Corey Turner in the boys pole vault, and Emyleigh Burlew in the girls discus. Quincy also won the girls 4x400m relay.

Quincy All-Sports Weekend continues Saturday with the Oriole Classic baseball, softball, and girls soccer invitational.
Coldwater traveled to Williamston for the 16-team Mitch Lutzke Invitational. The Cardinal girls finished sixth with 47 points, while the boys were tenth with 35.5 points.
Coldwater’s event winners were Jackson Reilly in the boys shot put, Miyah Moore in the girls 200m dash, and Ella Grabowski in the girls long jump. Briana Barle also won both wheelchair events.
